Abhinav Varma, a versatile and accomplished guitarist with a strong history in music of the extreme metal cadre. Combining a unique blend of influences spanning across Indian and Western Classical streams, Jazz, and Djent, Abhinav found his niche playing in Technical and Melodic Death Metal bands.
Over time, Abhinav found his interests being fuelled by acoustic guitars, leading him away from metal, into the realms of Flamenco and Finger-style percussive playing.
From intricate fingerpicking and catchy percussive beats to fiery flamenco melodies and raga improvisation, Abhinav's performances are a true showcase of his mastery of the acoustic guitar.
With a deep understanding of each musical genre and a passion for experimentation, Abhinav brings forth a sound that is both fresh and yet familiar.
